Everyone wants a perfect career – there is no doubt about that! However, writing a compelling resume is a prerequisite to landing on the ideal job. To help you with that, CareerPerfect.com is going to help you. But should you trust them? Are they good enough?
That’s where we come in! Today, we would make a detailed review of the service and make sure you get the perfect resume for your dream job.
CareerPerfect.com is claiming to be a “Job-Winning Resume Writing Service.” As we looked into the “About Us” page of their website, something felt odd as we didn’t get any information about them other than the company is an online division of the Career Services Group, Inc. They also say that they have been in the business since 1978.
So far, the company seems to have a long history and reputation.
CareerPerfect: The Range of Writing Services
Other than the resume services, you can get interview related advice from them. They can help you with also some strategies and advice regarding job searches and career planning.
However, they are most proud of their resume writing service. It was kind of odd that they have great and exciting features, but they don’t offer simple and common services like cover letter writing, thank you letter writing, or LinkedIn profile support.
They have great and off-beat career-related services, but their services seem to be a bit, outdated!
CareerPerfect.com: Pricing and Discount Policy
However, after looking for the pricing for some time, we found the pricing page.
They have four different service levels for the different target market –
- Student and Entry Level
- Professional and Mid-Career Level
- Federal and Military
Each of the services would cost differently. For example, an entry-level resume would cost about $179.95. But if you are looking for a comprehensive result, you will have to pay $299.95
Similarly, the pricing would change as you are ordering a different service. However, we feel that pricing is a bit on the expensive side. Such a high price can only be justified by top-notch services and resumes.
Another sad fact is that CareerPerfect.com don’t offer any kind of discount. So, there is no way you can negotiate or get a lower price.
Quality of CareerPerfect
However, we were utterly disappointed seeing the end result. The resume we got was too pale! The style and design seemed boring and felt too 1990s.
The modern resumes should be clean, neat, and aesthetically pleasing. They had used the Times New Roman font, and the resume was completely black and white. There were big chunks of words every here and there. Plus, there was no graphical representation of skills or other factors.
It felt like that the resume was just a list of qualifications and skills that a child with minimum word processing skill can do. CareerPerfect should come up with better designs for their resumes.
If you are not happy with the quality of the resume, they will rewrite the resume completely for free. On the other hand, if you don’t like the software, they will refund the complete money.
You cannot make a direct phone call, cannot chat with a representative, or place an inquiry.
So, there is no doubt that they are behind their game. The only mode of communication is the Career Center (mother company) number. Moreover, the line remains open from 9 AM to 6 PM from Monday to Friday only.
We were utterly disappointed with their poor customer support facilities.
